The house is set in 1. 5 acres of tropical garden on the edge of Gokcebel, a small, authentic Turkish village just off the glorious Turquoise Coast. The sea is only 10 minutes away and can be seen from the garden. Bodrum is a 20 minute drive and it takes 5 minutes to drive to fashionable Yalikavak which is full of great restaurants.
The pool area sits beautifully in front of the house ahead of the lovely views of the sea. Trees around the pool ensure shade if you want it and the bar area by the pool is ideal for long evenings playing cards with a cold beer! The house nestles on the edge of a small Turkish village and has been designed by the celebrated local architect Anne Cummings. It is made up of 3 separate buildings meaning one can escape from a large party of family or friends for a quiet nap after a long lunch. The main house is traditionally built and very comfortable inside.
Evening drinks can be taken on the lovely terrace, enjoying lovely views across the valley and to the sea beyond. The sights and sounds from the comfort of this lovely home are what makes it so special, enjoy the warmth of the sun or the cool shade while dreaming under cypress trees. You won’t want to leave the delicate fragrance of herbs and tropical flowers. The gentle hum of crickets surrounds the house giving the whole place a sense of tropical splendour.
